This falls into the category of “not my cup of tea,” but apparently, there’s a Halo 3 tournament/fund raising event being sponsored by a group called the Gamers Outreach Foundation. There’s a nice editorial about this in the AA News; apparently, Zach Wigal was going to do this last year at Saline High, but the folks out there chickened out when the discovered that this video came might include violence. Shocking.
Anyway, it sounds like a good cause, and I guess it’s fun if you’re into that sort of thing. I don’t know if this is really a spectator event though.
