In the spirit of celebration, I just thought I’d ask. Me, I was in my department’s faculty/staff lounge because of some meetings/business I had to attend to most of the day. I managed to bring up radio coverage and then a video feed on my laptop computer. Me and three colleagues crowded around. Somehow, I think watching the first president to post YouTube videos on a laptop is highly appropriate.
So, where were you?
And good luck, President Obama. Now get to work!

I was…..home:-)
What a historic day, it still seems surreal!
I must admit the happiest moment of the day for me were:
1) Seeing the helicopter take Bush away
2) Seeing Obama’s daughter give him the thumb up
3) Learning that not even one arrest was made and people cleaning up afterwards saying “we might as well do something productive”
4) One lady interviewed in a Southern city watching it on TV with her young son saying “I can now honestly say to my boy that he can be President one day”
Lots of work to do to dig out of the hole we are in!
