In the mean-time, let me leave you with the very amusing “view” from David Galef in Inside Higher Ed, “Translation of the Last Department Meeting.” Perhaps being frighteningly accurate in many of its “translations,” Galef’s piece suggests that really, there isn’t that much difference between the workings of academia and the meetings I read about in Dilbert.
