Just wanted to give a shout-out to long time friend of the site, “Aging Hippie,” who I ran into today for the first time in what seems like months. He reached into his pocket and handed me $20 toward the EMUTalk.org effort and I had it in my hand before I could even really say “that isn’t necessary.”
But hey, I decided a long time ago that if people want to give me money without me asking, who am I to say no?
In any event, thanks again for the support– I appreciate it, and I’m sure that all the folks reading this now appreciate it too. And if anyone else wants to simply hand me money in support of EMUTalk.org, feel free!
My intent all along has been to make an annual contribution. Dunno if I’ve achieved that, but this most recent one is long overdue. You know why.

Is there a cover up going on here? Yesterday the first post was by George Tirebiter. Now it changed to Aging Hippie. You’ve been outed George or should I say Aging Hippie. Pro Tip: don’t use auto forms.
I used George’s machine instead of mine because his was more convenient for a quick note to sitedad than mine–by some twenty miles. I asked sitedad to make the correction as soon as I realized I’d made *my* comment under *his* name.
George wasn’t too happy with me about this. Gonna cost me a few of my namesake breakfasts at the Tower to compensate for my egregious error.
