Well, technically, they were picked to finish 6th (in the MAC West); the voting is segregated by division except for the championship. In fact, they were the consensus pick at that spot — every voter picked them to finish 6th (in the MAC West). But yeah, suggesting that EMU was picked to finish 6th in the entire MAC is wishful thinking.
