I knew about this, but I came across it again via Facebook: TEDxEMU will be happening March 9 and deadlines for submitting a presentation are February 10.
I’m kind of mulling over the idea of submitting a proposal about how this hobby of mine, EMUTalk.org, does indeed make connections between learning, teaching, technology, collaboration, and entertainment. Anyway, while I contemplate, go check it out.

I have a Google Alert to search anything talking about TEDxEMU, so that’s how I found your blog… I have several others, always in search of existing conversations going on campus. That has been one of my biggest pet peeves since I came to EMU two years ago, how there just seems to be a lack of communication and talking through problems in our community. We need more of you to speak up, Professor Krause!!
…And heck, when else would you have the chance to speak at a TED event of any size?
Well, only if they extend the deadline at this point….
