As featured on ESPN, here’s a video about EMU student and track team member Latipha Cross. As the ESPN site puts it, “18-year-old Latipha Cross overcame homelessness and two bouts of cancer to earn a full track and field scholarship to Eastern Michigan University.” Pretty amazing and inspiring story, though sorry the video kind of overlaps the “recent comments” column….
