I missed this April Fool’s story over on Ypsinews.com, “MSU to buy EMU in Hostile Takeover Bid.” It’s a surprisingly elaborate article for a joke article, IMO. Be sure to check it out.

There was a nice write-up in Annarbor.com about some upcoming theatre at EMU, “Eastern Michigan University invites you to check in at ‘Hotel Paradiso.’” I like elaborate 19th century French farces, so maybe I’ll check it out– not this week but next.

MLK day student video competition

I saw this information in a couple places, and there’s this article in The Eastern Echo today about the MLK video contest. The contest is “in the spirit of the theme: ‘The Dream: [Insert Self Here].’” Check out the web site and finalist’s videos. The polling is open until January 15.
